MICROENERGY and EFICIENCY
For sustainable efficiency
Photovoltaic, wind and water self-consumption refers to the individual production of electricity for the own consumption, through integrated systems.
This practice can be carried out by individuals, families, companies, public centers, etc.
Thanks to technological advances, sophistication and economy of scale, the cost of micro-scale power generation has been steadily reduced since the first commercial technologies were manufactured and its average cost of electricity generation is already competitive with conventional energy sources in a growing number of geographic regions, reaching grid parity.
The cost of this type of electricity generation has diminished enough to reach the moment in which installations are realized although they are not incentivized.
